Hydraulics Expert, Reversing pump rotation.

Pump
http://www.surpluscenter.com/item.as...435-B&catname=

Cheap gear pump, Rotation is wrong on it. Can the pump rotation be reversed?
I have changed the rotation on variable displacement piston pumps by floping the charge pump around. I was just wondering if the rotation could be changed..

You should be able to just swap the inlet and outlet and run it backwards.

here you go same pump, opposite rotation, click here

BTW, the surplus center pumps that are reversible say so in their descriptions, so I would guess that one is not. There are also far cheaper pumps than that at surplus center that are also the right direction for you, like this one, clicky
I just bought one of their 1.0 cu in. gear pumps by Dynamic, and it is excelent quality and was only like $110.

Good luck to you,
Jason
