For all you people with "ideas" on how to fix the radiator, here is how it turned out. the bottom of the core is a little ugly but you will never see it when it is mounted.

if you read he clearly states that his head is six inches from the top of the cage andwith that info you probably could have figured that hell be able to see just fine

If you'd read my sig you'd clearly see that I actuially have one of these chassis. My head is about 3 to 4 from the top of the cage and there's no way I'd have very a good view with a hood that tall.

So go back and sit it the corner noob, the adults are talking here.

Smack

I agree with MD here. Being that I own one. The hood will be fine on flat surfaces or down hill. But most of the hammer trails are ran on a slight uphill. It will be extremly hard to see the trail with a hood that high.

sorry it took so long to get back. The visability isn't as bad as it looks in the pictures, it only sits about 5.5" above the front hoop and folows the downward slope of the front hoop. I wanted full protection for the motor and radiator so that is kind of where it had to be.

No real updates. I took a little while off to build a bumper for by 4runner and to actualy go wheeling for a change. I have been working on the floor and pedals. I will hopefully have something to take pics of after the weekend.

I finaly got something done worth taking pictures of. At first I didn't think I was going to be able to use the stock brake and clutch masters but I got them to fit. I know the mount is kind of ugly but it will be hidden under the hood.

Here is a shot of the pedals, I used the factory pedal mounting bracket and the top couple of inches of the pedals, then built my own pedals from there
