Reverse rotation Power steering pump???

Since I am currently building a buggy that uses a honda civic engine that turns the opposite direction to most everything else in the world,I was wondering if there is any applications that the PS pump turns counter clockwise(as looking at the front of the engine).I know I can just make a mount for a regular pump the makes the pulley face the engine(so it turns the correct direction for the pump to operate). But, I wanted an easier way if its possible!!!I thought about using the stock honda pump but I doubt it will make enough pressure and volume for 4 wheel steering!!!!

Thanks for any help!!!!

can't you just make a mount to put the pump where a serpentine belt turns it the right way?

It doesnt have a serp belt, and if it did I would have to find a ps pump pulley the the belt can turn on its backside(to get it to spin the pump the right way!!!)I know I can face the ps pump towards the engine and get the correct rotation but I was hoping for a magic application for a reverse pump!!!

if you have the space mount the pump ass out. if you're fabbing a bracket it'll be the same amount of work.

Exactly what I was thinking...mount the pump backwards if you have the room in front of the engine.

A lot of the Saginaw "Type N" pumps are reverse rotation. I think they were from an early 90's Caprice, LT1 maybe???? They are out there in stock form.

Of course PSC makes an uprated one as well.

The mid-late 80's Corvette TPI motors used a reverse rotation pump also.
