Post 10 bolt Tie Rod on Dana 44

Anybody running this combo? Looks like a good way to net another inch of tie rod clearance. I like the "junkyard swap" appeal rather than shelling out for Hi-steer (read: I'm broke)

Don't know if anybody's doing this already, just thought I'd share. More info in the Chevy Forum.

Well, it's on there. Fits fine, and it's an inch higher than the old rod, which is higher than the 10 bolt by about 2 inches.

Not that anyone cares since they all run hydraulic four wheel steering
