jeep won't start, its a '79 304, i've changed coil, plugs, wires, pickup coil, cap, rotor, and the ignition control module has been checked, and the fuses are all good, i'm not gettin any spark from the coil either, i don't know what the hell else to check, anyone have any ideas?
Look at the distributor with the cap off and crank the engine. Does the rotor turn? I doubt that you have a broken shaft in your distributor but its possible.
My '76 CJ7 with a 304 used to do this. Pull apart the square contector at the distributor and clean the contacts. Mine I'd unplug and plug the contector a couple of times and it'd be good for a couple of weeks.
