Umm... until your on your side and all forward or rearward movement is lost. (really.. have you technically rolled if your sidwalls can still move you? <G>) After you hit that, just back off a little.
Mines around 45-50 degrees, probably more but with a crawl ration of 45:1 things are moving too fast going beyond that.
I bought one of those tilt meters about 15 years ago--I just found in the back of the locker in my garage yesterday still in the box. I'll have to look at it closer but I think I could peg the meter! Back then we thought 30 degrees was a lot! Now I know I can go beyond 45 degrees--my truck will start smoking and I have to hold the gas at about 2500 rpm and it still runs rough and surges because gas has starved the jets when things tilt over this much!
Yeah I bought one of those tilt meters and mounted it on the dash back in high school. You know because those mud fields got really off camber
It's still in there now just for amusement. I tell people when it pegs we are gonna roll over. Then I keep going another10 degrees and my rider is about to shit themselves. Works better with girls in the passenger seat :flipoff2:
