I would not participaate, but I would spectate should it come to my area. I'd say I would travel 100 miles one-way to watch if I thought it was going to be a pretty serious competition - more, if I knew any of the competitors.

I don't really think of Poteau as "East Coast", but if you had something at Paragon or in Massachusetts or something I would go. Basically I would travel up to three hours to see this, particularly if people I knew where going to be in it.

Why not try to get some kinda Midwest championships goin? I mean think about it?
We got Clayton, Poteau, Disney, and a couple other places. There are enough hardcore trails in those 3 places to really seperate the big dogs from everyone else. Run ABC at Clayton, thats enough of a challenge right there. Its definitely the toughest trail there, if not in the state (at least thats my opinion)... Anyways.. before I get sidetracked, theres those 3 places (and others) in OK, then you've got quite a few places in Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, etc. The thing I don't get it, if its the ARCA (American Rock Crawling Association?) then shouldn't the events be based all over America, not just the west coast? Just my opinion, I could be wrong... Matt "Taz" Green Durant, OK 1980 INTL Scout II The Rubber Ducky! ***EVIL PROJECT IN PROGRESS*** |

I would love to do something, but you are right, OK is good for Mid-West and the South, not the east.
