the CE race program is in a class of its own. he has the money to drive every race for the win, not a finish. fatigue of equipment is going to be his biggest competitor until the rest of the field catches up. there have been some teams with flashes of brillance, but none have shown the consistency as CE. CE does it with far less money than people think.
They've got some great sponsors that help out in a big way (which of course comes with winning), but the program is way tighter than most can imagine.

What I think it great is the kind of people they are. Everywhere I have been all I hear are great things about how they act (in a good way) and how much attention they give to people who want to learn or show up at an event. I think something needs to be said for the roll that he plays in the sport. It's one thing to be heavy weight champ of the world. It's another to act like your not. For that I give their program an A++++++++

With as much as they win, it would be alot easier to hate him if he wasnt so damn nice and humble. At KOH last year, he didnt know us from Adam, and he offered us pit support, whatever we needed. Very very cool people. A true champion. And for that sir....

They really are a class act. I went to an XRRA race a few years back, and they were having some ARB trouble, and working on tearing the rear axle apart, there was a bunch of people just standing there watching, and I asked if I could help and someone said "you know what to do" and I said "Ya" and jumped under and started tear it apart and they treated me like I was part of the team, I was on cloud 9. Then Don and I took apart the 3rd in the trailer while throwing back shots of crown, he taught me like I was one of his boys. Most of the other teams just look at you like "who the fuck is this guy?" so I would like to say thanks again for being so cool to the little guys!

To the people building this thing, why aren't you working with NASA or something? That thing is insane.

Of note: When I started on the IFS idea I first called Rick at CE and he graciously shared some ideas to consider with regards to the ifs thing. I asked what they would charge to mig up an IFS chassis just like the one shannon was racing but in a 2 seater version. For about 10k$ I was told i could get the bare chassis with suspension pic-up points and all the propper bracketry for the Pro am IFS parts. Seemed a little steep at the time. In retrospect, that was a good price for all the thought time that goes into this. Especially considering they had a product that is known to work. I wonder if they would build an IFS car for sell now? And if so, why are we all trying to make a better mousetrap when theirs works so good?

![]() They just sold Aaron Sykes one of their Pro Mod cars (without drivetrain) for a screaming deal. Aaron said it should be ready for the T-day run.

Their muffler sponsor should be happy it has a muffler now
![]() Seems like the fuel neck/dry break is higher than it used to be so maybe there is some more fuel capacity now but hard to tell. Is the new front third member an F9 unit from Currie, I wonder what if any differences there are from before.
