New Twisted Customs Monster Buggy

I knew TC was building this buggy, but I did not know until today when someone sent me these pictures that it was complete.

Check this thing out......I saw the portals when I went to get my buggy....406's?? w/8 lug conversion and disc brakes, 47" LTBs with WE beadlocks.....

From what I remember, he will have a full aluminum FJ-45 body for it that will snap on and snap off.

This has to be the coolest big buggy I have ever seen , maybe Brian E will jump in and give us some specs.

I snagged these photos off the web here: http://www.bh4wheelers.com/cgi-bin/y...num=1237931170

Nice to see them changing things up a bit, thing is wild!

We need specs on Jason Paule's TC rig from Brian E too. Love that thing, wish there were more pics of it from KOH.

EDIT: The Tacoma buggy in the link is bad ass too!

That's Rob Ruttledge's (sp?) new buggy. Has FJ45 bedsides made by Aqualou that snap off. Pumped up 6.2 litre, built Turbo 350 and an atlas 4 speed. I think the wheelbase ended up around 120. Rob needed it for his yearly Moab trip. So it's back to TC for teardown and paint.

Yeah, that's the guy....has that wicked cool red FJ-45 with a Chevy Diesel in it.

I can't wait to see what Jason does with the paint on it

Heard he was doing two sets of hoods and skins. One for show and one for Go. Also heard that he might do a stock old school Cruiser color with hub caps. What ever he and Jason come up with, it will be bad ass!!!

Knowing what one of these things costs, I would hate to know how much one of those costs

Saw it on a trailer in Moab. His tow rig is nothing to gawk at either!

Nice, Brian mentioned a "Monster Buggy" to me a few times, but I never knew what he was talking about until now.

I don't know if robb would've nicknamed it the "monster" buggy compared to the red FJ45 he had been wheeling.
Either way that buggy is impressive. And I got to drive about 15ft in the BFE parking area

A few more pics from Moab last week.

Here are the specs Brian emailed to me:

The top is 6'8", 21" under the diffs and 27" under the skid plate.

In comparison, mine is 6' 1" to the top and 21" under the skid plate.

That is insane....47" tires and portals and it is only 7" taller than my buggy.

I would love to see this next to a 48" TC chassis on 37's.

Is he pleased with it? How did it work? Any mechanical problems on the shake-down?

Jason's truck looks like a toy, like the kids powerwagons
Hals looks like a RC truck (was at full bump last I saw it in the shop)

It's big. Axles are narrowed to help give it the shortness look.
