Pecking away at it. Got alot done this weekend for it being a 1 man show ( minus pops helping me wrangle the transmission into place). My anticipation is growing. Ready to be wheeling again.

Finally got a chance to drive the thing. I have been ready to drive this buggy for a long time now and it feel like a great accomplishment to worked through alot of things in the past year to make it happen. With working close to 60 hours a week and dealing with keeping our family farm alive, I have not had alot of time to myself to get this done. Alot of hands have touched this buggy and what turned out as an idea and a few drunken nights as a college kid turned into something I think will be a great racer/trail rider.
First impressions are WOW. The cooling system is fantastic and it handles WAY better than my old buggy. The shocks will need tuning, but overall I am proud of how it handles. Thanks to StretchASU for the helping for 5 hours in the heat and being my comic relief. He took these pictures as well. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Outta work at 230 on Saturday if you still wanna throw that bidge on my trailer and roll to DPG or Uwharrie for a few hotlaps. Kyle and a few of the TTORA guys will be out at URE racin' around. I'll bring the Mountain Dew Slushies. ![]() -Stretch

Went out to M&M Fab's super secret testing grounds this afternoon. Thanks to PJ for having us out and letting play a little. Loving the buggy so far...minus the sway bar from Rock Equipment sway bar that snapped about 30 mins into the first ride...not extremely happy with that. Hopefully they will make it right.

Serious question, with Goodyears and their directional looking tread, why the hell does everyone put the right side on "backwards".

Not backwards, wide spaced lugs on outside regardless of position on buggy.

Been wheeling the hell out of this thing. Been out 4 times in 5 weeks and so far it keeps coming back for more. Looking to be at RBD for the next ride if work will slow down. The end of my year has several HUGE projects on me at work.
Also, planning on a moab trip at the end of march/early april of next year. If you want a racer though...its always for sale. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Did you run into any thing that made it difficult to do the right hand drive? How's your driveline to starter clearance? Is that a lp chevy front?I have the same drivetrain and am thinking of going this way. The only differance is I'm going to run a hp ford 60 on the Chevy side. Thanks

Got tired of having more suspension then motor. I think this will even it out a little...
LS3/L92, the motor has completely ported and polished heads 350+cfm, SS Ferrea valves, PSI valve springs, titanium retainers, 275xfi comp cam, Cadillac lifters, single bolt LS2 conversion w/trailblazer front cover and pickup, L92 truck intake manifold, 42lb Injectors, 92MM Nick Williams throttle body. Said to be in the mid 500's in HP. Had a 6.0 that i was going to build, but this worked out well and saved ALOT of time. ![]()
