Nice job.
Those are not window net frames, those are wings.

I havent figured out yet who is more of an artist, Don or his son Ryan. Don said he actually went to vo-tech just to learn how to use and fab with the aircraft rivits. Amazing work. When Ryan and Levi get together, those two could be dangerous.

Nice job.
I saw a lot of time wasted during the 2010 LCQ from guys just getting in and out of buggies due to window nets. Not sure if it made a difference in getting a ticket punched but sometimes it felt like an eternity watching the co-driver try to install the window net after getting back in.

I like the window net wings, one quick question though. I may be overthinking this. In the event of a HARD roll/crash in which the hinge area could become bent and the window net would no longer hinge out, will you still be able to easily unfasten the window net to allow you to exit the vehicle?

I just don't want you trapped inside if something were to happen.

Not even a concern. The frame closes inside the opening so getting it wiped out is slim. Most the time I go out the front window anyway.

Fund Racer

We are doing our first gathering directly following the first of the year here in Wichita. The Lukemia Society children patients will be on hand to fingerprint the skins for show. This will be a dinner event and anyone that would like to come will be invited. We will keep you posted as to the date.
Additionally the Fund Racer will be displayed at the Daryl Starbirds car show. We are so excited for the patients to review this car that is ultimately built for them...in their honor.

Build looks great!

VERY WELL put!!! I guess I cashed all my chips in on that one!!! But, doctors say I'm not out of the woods until 5 years. That will put me as close as I will ever get to everyone that has never been diagnosed with cancer. Thanks for putting me in my spot! And thank you for your kind comment on the build.

Wiring and plumbing starts Thursday...

youre very welcome you do great work, youd be very surprised to find out how much what you feel affects your reality. YouTube - Gregg Braden-The Divine Matrix, Part 1/11 youve got tons of chips left and can always get more, 5 years no problem since you are a cancer survivor i highly suggest listening to the link, at least give it 10 minutes.

looking forward to the updates, and yea im gonna win this thing too

I said it with brians and ill say it with this one. I love this chassis! Do not see very many rigs with this much room to work with that are not crazy huge with a monster wheel base. Gotta love how simple yet affective it is.

Right on.. This is DAD (aka Don) talking! I only say that cause Ryan is updating this thread.. But, a proud father has got to step in sometimes! Wait til you see the tool box Ryan is building for this car.. You wanna see some shot rivets! And the dash is NOT done yet. Still have gauges to place! Ryan is on a Saturday schedule to update with pictures. Wiring and plumbing started tonite so hopefully theres a lot of pictures this weekend..

Window frames are on their way to Twisted Stitch for the nets. We would only trust those things to Leo and gang!!! We will post pictures when they get back.
