I love your a-pillar reinforcements. Glad to see this build over here in Gen. Please tell me you're powder coating the chassis the same color as your axles and headlock rings. That color is sick!

Well beadlock rings are chrome on the new tire/rim combo. But since the Racelines are black, I think I'll tear off the rings and have them done like the TR's were.

Unfortunately the green is a custom powder combo done by my powdercoater who's oven isn't big enough for a chassis. But I'm leaning towards having the chassis done desert tan. I've got a couple ideas I'm tossing around for the panels.

Got my new 3" rad quoted today, 16" spal w/ shroud and threaded aluminum bungs welded to the front sides of the tanks to hang it from. PRC was very easy and informative to work with.

Annnnnnd a buddy notified me he knows where a 48 CJ-2A that needs minimal work to be road worthy is, so there could be an addition to the family. Always wanted a stocker to bomb around in!

I was nervous. But the 30" bar fits nicely between everything. Links will be about 19" center to center.

Very impressed with PRC's execution of what I wanted. The lower fitting shoots straight at the thermostat housing so I can get rid of the loop t do I had and have always hated for numerous reasons.

Also got some headlights installed in the grille, been doing other random things too. Time to start paneling and make this thing a little more presentable. The hood might actually tilt up if I can find the hinge from 3 years ago.

Anyone looking for a nice Taurus fan with an almost new motor and spare or radiator?

I'm far from being a Ron Covell, but I do know what I want for Christmas next year!!!

Hoping I can get the tig dialed in so I don't fubar what I've gotten done so far...

So why is there a need for sway bar when I thought ori have sway bars style tuning and valving internally?

Mostly because I run a spool in the rear, and I like how the front rides and I'd like the rear to be softer if anything. It wheels great, and is plenty stable. I'm running a low rate swaybar to help it in the higher speed stuff, especially when there is alot of traction.

I'm sure I could mess with the shocks internally but I don't feel like doing that myself due to time, or shipping them and waiting.

Don't know how much racing I'll be doing from here on out. There are some challenges that happen up in Michigan here and there I may enter if it fits the schedule. Word on the street is that something similar to what TREC was may start up next year so we'll see.
