Saw how Tribe 4x4 is mounting their skidplates and thought it was a great idea.

Uses 94850a170 from Mcmaster

Also made the engine skid removable. Can pull trans/engine pans easy now, and drop trans out the bottom.

Finished up the rad mount

And a teaser

Dropping it off at powdercoater tomorrow morn.

Everyone likes it thats seen it in person. I've been working on it as time allows. Decided not to rush to get it together to go on a trip before the baby is born.

Hoping to fire it up before the end of the month. The hard part is done, just gotta get all the accessories etc bolted up and plumbed.

Was able to flip the intake, sand down a couple useless fins and keep the fuel plumbing the same so was excited about that.

Well not much progress has been made recently, but for a good reason.

Thanks to technology I can find time to tinker when moms away and doesn't know.

I did the same thing when my first was born. Mine also had a small led display that would light up with sound, so if I was grinding, or had ear plugs in, I would just have to glance over from across the garage to see the lights lit up

Lookin great btw

Absolutely, seems everyone ripped into their rigs this year so I wasn't in too much of a rush to finish it off. But now everyone is about done and I'm getting anxious to go play.

Thanks!

This one has a SIDS mat that goes under the crib mattress and will beep and flash a warning symbol if breathing isn't detected. But he's currently being placed in the bassinet close to momma every night.

Planning on weighing this thing when it's back together. Coincidently my buddy who has the scales is installing a dyno this week so if it goes low enough I'll see what it puts down with 40" stickies.
