camo 60
so here are the finished parts from jack. i would like to publicly thank jack for taking on my dream project as he spent countless hours designing and developing these parts for me. now that these are made they are available for anybody who needs the ultimate in axle strengh.
details: material is 300m cromoly. the stub axle is one piece made from a solid chunck of material and cnc machined. the inner axle design is a two piec deal and the yoke you are looking at is also made from 300m billet. the axle size on the stub and inner axle is 40 spline 1.710" several RCCA competitiors have already contacted CTM and had Jack build them 35 spline 300m stubs and inners axles. these include Jason Paule and Tracy Jordan, |

Now..I'll bite...Any idea on target price for the 35 spline stuff? I don't want to bother Jack with lookie'loo questions. Then again, if the price is under $800....Not bloody likely though. --D

the ARB was a much easyer deal. all we had to do was aneal the side gears to make them dead soft, then broach them 40 spline and re heat treat them. then we turned the side case to allow the axle to go through.......oh ya we needed to modify the air passages. OK well maybe easy was a bad word to describe the locker

Is there a reason the axle shaft has a detachable yolk & the stub shaft doesn't? I really like the phat gussets inside the yolks. But why does the detachable one have a notch cut out of it?

um, as soon as i have 3000+ to drop on axles....i may think about doing that....or not. that's a lot of cash....with plenty of better things to do with it.
