He must be wanting to run two since he made two identical threads about them.

There could be several other reasons for this...
A different personality started the first thread.
He's so high he forgot he started the first thread a few minutes earlier.
He's padding his post count, 3 posts per year just isn't cutting it anymore.
He's hoping for twice as many responses.
One of his co-workers posted the other thread while he wasn't looking, ironically they had the same exact question.
Etc.

Been running KRC aluminum pumps for years. Don't waste your money on the cast pump though... they can't take any rpm's.

x2(front and rear w/3.7gpm pressure valve and 6" pulleys) they are working great so far. Call krc and talk to Norm, He's good tech guy if you got any questions.

The cast pump(s) will work fine if you have the correct pulley's to make sure you don't over rev the pumps. A 1 to 1 ratio is what you should shoot for.

bumping this back to the top......so what is the general consensus on KRC aluminum pumps and how do they compare the a PSC p-pump? I'm running a matching PSC orbital and their 3x9 ram on a 60 turning 44" PBR's with a slightly modded p-pump on a 5000 lb truggy. The problem I am having is my steering is a bit sluggish. I have changed my pulleys around to speed the pump up and that helped but i still need more.

Any tech or suggestions?

I would bet that the P pump moves more fluid than the KRC. Your 3" ram is giving you the power you need for a heavy buggy with tires that big, but a cylinder that size requires a ton of volume to move it, more than 2x the volume of a 2" cylinder. Your best option may be a homemade 2 pump system.
