Yeah pretty much it, but I also got some braded hose as well as the fittings to make the Walbro pickups work... That dam submersible hose is expensive as well...

Well the fuel cell is together, now just got to get a regulator / filter set up. The seats are tacked in and trying to figure out a door bar. I ran one straight across but did not like it, so my next step is diagonal from the B pillar to the A pillar and see how that is... The tires are on...

please rethink that diagonal

6.2.5.6 All vehicles including those with stock steel doors, must have at least one side bar on each side of vehicle that will protect occupants from side impact. The sidebars must be of the same tubing material and dimensions as the main frame of the rollcage. The sidebars should be as close to parallel to the ground as possible, must be located to provide maximum protection to the occupants, and must be securely welded to the front and rear hoops of the rollcage. The location of the sidebars must not cause difficulty in entering or exiting the vehicle.

Well today working on the Atlas support ring and the fuel cell mount.

Update, drivelines are done and being picked up today, Atlas support ring has been machined and now needs some fab work to install.

Fuel system, so I need a fuel filter and regulator to complete the fuel cell. I ran across this little gem, wondering if it would work. The great thing that it is a stock part for a corvette complete with a filter / regulator built in. I am running the stock 4.0 so the regulator is set at 58 PSI so that should be more then enough.

Thoughts?

Why not just run an earlier 4.0 fuel rail with regulator and return built in?

My thoughts are it is easier then changing the fuel rail and running a return line back to the tank.

If I do the older fuel rail I still need a filter and a return line.

So I have Friday off and a lot to accomplish. Chris (Flatblack) should be over to help out on the front fenders and I continue the install on the Atlas. I have the Atlas ring machined down and now have to make the mount.

The door bars are complete w/ seat mounts intalled as wel ~ all tacked in...

The driveshafts are in my truck, need to install them after the Atlas ring is complete.

The fuel cell is all plumbed inside, now working on the outside stuff. Still need a fuel filter and regulator.

Fuel cell mount is all bent up now, just need to add some dimples to make it faster and look cool!

Starting on the battery mount today, pretty much going in the same spot as stock was but with a little more race out look!

A lot of welding still needs to be done, dam there is a lot still!

Been gone all week underway, I have a 24 hour duty day today... I will be gone Monday and Tuesday underway also, then right into Thanksgiving to which I will be gone all four days out of town. Time for me could not be tighter....

Tomorrow I have a lot of work to complete around the house, then I can work on the Jeep. I should have the Atlas support ring finished and start on the other front bump stop.

One the 1st, I will order the PSC steering items, remaining fuel system items, new rear springs, battery disconnect switch and what ever else I can afford after all that!

the vette filter may work, but there's a grand Cherokee filter that is external and the same return configuration, but is designed for a 4.0. Im not sure of the year though, maybe someone else will.

I know the 98TJ has the regulator in the fuel pump assembly. Since I am no longer running the stock pump I have to figure something else out. I may just go with a aeromotive set up and just say F!*k it....

I also tried to find out that the fuel pressure for a 4.0 is but there is a lot of confuisng stuff on the internet! I keep reading and searching for the answer, what I am finding is any where from 5 PSI all the way up to 55 PSI... The dam chiltons book does not even have the pressure in it... Tells me how to check, but no numbers....

I guess I could get an YJ 4.0 fuel rail and just do it that way. Just need to find one around San Diego and figure out what year to use.

Did you get your regulator figured out? I've been running a Areomotive for a few years. The only issue I have is a long crank at times. I'm hoping the new fuel cell will fix it. This one will prime the pump from gravity.
