I'm not in the military, but my youngest son is a Cav Scout in the sandbox as we speak. I've followed this thread, and can see all sides as correct up to a point. There isn't a cut and dried solution for any aspect of this problem. Muslims are taught from birth to hate America, and Americans. Not all of them do. How do you tell a good one from a bad one? To classify a complete race of people as terrorests because of the acts of part of that race is narrow minded, but at the same time, blindly trusting that same race of people for the good they do is dangerous and irresponsible. Turn this around.....most serial killers are White, does that make us all criminals, of course not. Do you trust every White person you meet? Some people do, and usually wind up as a statistic. You have to take people, regardless of the color of their skin, on an individual basis. Here's where it gets complicated...how do you know that your buddy, there again regardless of his skin color, whom you've known for years, won't snap, and go on a killing spree? It happens all the time. In some cases there are warning signs, in most there are not.

Like I said, I see all sides here. The easy fix would be like what happened in 1941. But we all know that isn't the correct fix. Only time will tell us if Moggers agenda is correct or not. If in the years to come, Muslims continue to shoot and blow up our Country, we may all change our views, but during that same time, how many innocent Americans will be killed by Whites, blacks, or Asians?

Most Muslim Americans are a threat to no one... particularly when they are patriotic enough to enlist and serve in the US Military.

But that does not mean that there will not be some, however few, that will draw the line at attacking their own people... other Muslims. Doc is delusional if he thinks that any person of faith lets their faith take a back seat just because they put on a uniform. Only a person devoid of faith or severely lacking in any religious faith could even fathom a situation where one's faith did not factor into decisions they make. Faith is the primary motivator next to preservation of life. Smart military leaders capitalize on this fact and most will lead their troops in prayer before a mission as has been done since the beginning of warfare. Faith gives us a purpose larger than ourselves and even larger than any single country or people.

God and Country. In that order for a reason. Social Liberals replace God with Country/Government in the mold of Marx and Engel. When your government and by extension, your country BECOMES your god, then the most vile and evil acts, the extermination of entire populations, can become justifiable and we have seen this happen time and again in the last century alone.
