he got kicked out of everywhere else! ![]() But yeah, last night he said he'd be open to selling Hoboshack 1.0 and the price would depend on how he knew the person. If it was a Pirate guy, I'm sure he'd pass on the love in a reasonable price.

He's happy to have a paycheck coming in, but as far as the Dakotas, he hates the area. ![]() I asked him about that the other day. He has the parts, but I guess labor rates for someone to set the gears and stuff are 3 to 4 times what they'd be anywhere else. Since he's got no pressing need to have 4WD, he's holding off for the time being. His focus right now is going to be paying off the MH as quick as he can. |

![]() Still alive, slingin' parts & shouldering a few other responsibilities around the store. Their having a hard time modernizing their large, but fairly outdated store & systems. The store makes about what a big city Home Depot makes a day - not including the heavy duty truck parts store next door to us, same owner. The gun store (lots of LWRC goodness) alone pulls $750,000, it's in the parts store, facing my 'office'. We move $3 million+ a month, $5 million+ with the truck store. We are fucking busy. Anyhow, I remodeled, built, set, reset, etc - large box stores, to small town pharmacies (and some crazy ones in Detroit) for the last 10 years or so. I'm applying that experience by tearing down & remodeling the store on Sundays, bit by bit, with a small team. Beyond that I coordinate the special ordering system & have become the liaison between the various branches & buildings of the store(s), putting out fires & in general streamlining communication & efficiency. ![]() Asked for a raise today, I've shouldered these new responsibilities for a couple of months now, successfully. Seems like an appropriate time . . . I'm homesick as can be, miss my buddies - almost 7 months in. Motorhome is treating me well, I've been renting the rape shack out, it's paid my rent the last couple of months, haha ![]() Thanks again Slangy ![]() Jeep has a seriously cracked windshield & I've had both headlights broken by road debris Driving here is hectic - I only stay in Williston as long as I absolutely must. I'm gonna need some aggressive chains for the winter. Hopefully a beater to put them on as well. Anybody have a Swift, or a Metro for sale ? An AWD turbo Justy Maybe ? ![]() The jeep drinks $75 to $100 in gas a week, it's about 60 to 70 miles a day round trip. The motorbike is out of the question here, so a fuel sipping mini car is the next best thing, economy wise. Anyhow, I'm tired & morning is coming way too fast . . . Thanks again everyone, sorry I don't post much - reception is fairly sketchy at camp.

A 80s civic with some snow tires does amazingly well in the snow. We used them for years as our snowboarding transportation

new question,........
does either of your "shacks" have any signage signifying the "hobo rape" status of either?

I know that St James (Josh) made the trek back to the Pacific NW. I think that Josh wasn't wired for the absense of hills and forest...
He's been here in the Pacific NW for a bit. And recently he got a work gig in Central Oregon (which seems to be a bit more squatter friendly! LOL) |

They gave me the wrong fawking oil filter. Said I had 2000 camry 4 clyinder and they gave me a filter for a 2004 camry 4 cylinder. Pissed me off halfway through my oil change when I saw the numbers didn't match. Been doing my oil changes outside in the weather.
