The only bad thing about the judge being veep is that he couldn't be appointed to the SCOTUS.

I guess he could be, but then boner would become veep.

And he'd do much more good for this country in a lifetime SCOTUS position than he would for a 4-year, possible 8-year stint as Veep.

I am of the opinion that if we could put Ron Paul in the white house, and clone judge Napolitano 8 times, and give him all 9 seats on the SCOTUS, then America would be a pretty cool place to live.

You missed the point. Camaroidiot ASSumed that would automatically mean that "boner" becomes veep.

Totally not a good idea. The reason that the SCOTUS has 9 seats and that the president has limited powers is because for any country to succeed, it needs a balance of power. The SCOTUS has the most power of any of the branches due to lifetime appointments and a relatively small selection of individual viewpoints.

I think that if we got rid of the self-serving assholes throughout D.C. and replaced them with people who actually give a shit about the country more than their own pockets, regardless of their political leanings, this country would be a cool place to live.

Do you have a SCOTUS ruling to back that stance up?

then quote just that part of his post. FFS. The point of his post was Judge being Judge. And you :gary: to a very distant secondary point.

I think it's you who missed the point.

And honestly, I don't really care who else could be VP. VP's powers are highly limited...it's mostly a personality position. Judge Napolitano has the personality to give that position more power than has been seen since late in the Clinton administration, and probably more than in the history of the USA.
