I know a few British guys who currently live in the Virginia Beach area who do this. They work 2 months on, 2 months off, they dont say much about it though.

here's our business model

we employ security forces around the world. they board with weapons upon reaching international waters. before reaching port, they deboard with weapons in order to avoid local legal issues.

as it is now, some security teams remain on board and just toss their weapons
