Explain how do you run a marathon on all 7 continents
So today a 13 year old girl has started a mission to run a marathon on all 7 continents in 1 year.

I get the idea of how to do 6 of them. But the 7th escapes me. Where do you sign up? How do you train for it? Who else is doing it?

Yeah I saw that. This girl is 13 and she had to get special permission to run in our marathon as its for 16 and up.


I understnd they have these trips but how the hell does one prepare for such a trek. -20C is fawking cold.

I'm not sure about permission but I have met a bloke who ran in the 2010 Ice Marathon and he trained in a large freezer warehouse, just did lots of laps of the frozen vegies.

I don't know about the age for any other marathon. But she did the Eugene Oregon Marathon and the minimum age is 16. She got permission as she is running for cancer awarness.

She is doing all 7 continents in a calendar year. Next up is Kenya Africa.
