Layed my Busa down this morning.
Pulling into work this morning at about 630 I was going about 3-4 mph and turned on to the gravel entrance and the front tire went out quicker than shit! That's the first time I've ever gone down and I'm 37. Only slid about 4-5 feet. Very little road rash on me, I did smack my head on the ground (helmet on). I'm fine. All I was thinking was "the bike can't be too bad" "please don't be bad!". Then I pick it up and now 4 hours later I'm still sick to my stomach! It was such a beautiful bike! Lowered 2' , two bro exhaust, and in a3 mph fall over I've done a $1000 in damage! Excuse me while I puke! Damit!

I got smacked on my busa while riding into work by an illegal alien a couple years ago
![]() $1000 seems fairly lucky really. It is so easy to do a shit load of damage! That cosmetic shit adds up quick! A before and after.

Buddy of mine did the same thing to his BMW. Was moving it so they could jockey a few cars around the driveway and went to turn around in the middle of the road, front tire washed. Cost him a pipe and scuffed his 3 day old powdercoated front wheel.

they're wicked bikes no doubt. but to say they beautiful is very generous. they are the ugliest turds on two wheels imo. they don't even look like a sport bike. of course all the ones around here are even uglier than they come out of the factory with the 12" stretch and fuzzy seats the
's do.

please fix my runner
|
Managed to escape death this am when hadji was driving towards me in my lane...he was headed to the local convenience store and was looking off to his left...truck behind me, car next to hadji coming towards me left me no exit...stopped and waited for the impact and suddenly he turned left and I was safe...3 feet of skid mark from locking up the rear at 10 mph...

I dropped my sportster in the lot at work a few weeks ago. Same type of accident except mine was on that black shit they put on blacktop to seal it. Lucky for me it landed on me and didn't hurt the bike.

Neways, glad you were in a helmet and walked away, I had someone pull out in front of my while riding about a year ago, went down doin about 30 to avoid hitting him. Don't know how I didn't do more damage to the bike, but my half helmet was completely flat on one side. Cheap-o $30 fulmer helmet too, never had so much as a headache. You're right though, my stomach churned for days remembering it and how dumb it was, took my eyes off the road for a half second and didn't see someone doing something stupid.. |

WHY WHY WHY!?!?! Why don't people spend just a little bit of money on the thing that is supposed to protect your head?!?! Just a general statement, not a direct question.
