Aruba anyone? - Pirate4x4.Com : 4x4 and Off-Road Forum

So in a month and a handful of days the ol' lady and I are getting hitched and spending seven days in Aruba. Was wondering if any of the PBB had any advice, tips, guidance as to the in and outs of the island. What's cool, what's not. Plan on doing the 4x4 excursion (just to see if I can scare the guide), fishing, and lots of eating an drinking. Def going to hit up the local brewery while there.

Your totally missing my point for going to Aruba. Lol. We have some friends that go there every year. He said the west side of the island has really good shark fishing because that's where all the resorts and such dump there food scraps. It's referred to as Hollaway Bay to the tourists.

jolly pirates booze cruise. wife and i did this on our honeymoon cruise and they take you out to an old sunken WW2 german freighter to snorkel around. pretty cool.

Rent a samurai and go exploring around the cliffs and stuff near the golfcourse. You can easily kill a day just driving around and looking at all of the beautiful rocky coastline.

I've def already looked into this. Apparently I can rent one from the hotel lobby, or let them know and they will arrange one for me.

We are staying at the Riu Palace in Palm Beach. Before anyone asks, yes I will get pics
