There was a neat video posted here about this. They not only did it by dollars but said how long that money would last. Really interesting to see how much money it took to run the country for a day.

IIRC the tax scheme would get us through a year. Then the question becomes what now.

First off who are you and where is the real piggy.

The problem with the socialist leaders is the same problem with obama and those who are just plain lazy. They have never produced anything. They have never built a business, balanced money in/money out. All they have done is take. When they need more they take more. They never think about tomorrow because they think that they can just take more. If you run a business you see the limit to what you can make. there are limits to time and manpower. When you take from other people you see no limit to what you can take.

I am not an economist but I can tell you a couple things

Capitalism is a pyramid. Many folks on the bottom with a few at the top. It's a pretty solid design.

Socialism is an inverted pyramid. You got a few on the bottom with a whole hell of alot on the top. Now I know its impossible to litterally build an inverted pyramid but you can see that it would not last long if you could.


Also with the socialism aspect there is no reason to be great. If you and I do same job and you are great and I am meh and we make the same $$ how long are you going to bust ass and be great.

If we drive business into the ground and send even more off shore what happens?

Yes a vast majority of people may be this way but why would anybody do a $30 job and get paid $5. To me that doesn't make any sense.

Thats the problem I have with the whole socialism idea. I want to be rewarded for my work and ideas.

Unfortunately the model is set in place to allow those with no concept of loyalty to Nation, or ethic to vote.

I don't exactly blame them as much as I blame the ones who work hard and have a sense of loyalty to Nation, work ethic, morals, who have not done all they could have.
