Until every-other thread in Chit Chat isn't about TDS. I understand there isn't much to talk about, or do in SoCal, and this is a pretty good time, but..... This really taxes my webwheelin prowess to avoid threads such as:

"I got two ply Charmin for the motor home that it the same white as the Bender T's"

"I bought a new pink toothbrush just for TDS. I will put it on the mantel until the day I bring it to TDS."

"I put air in my tires at a gas station that is in the same direction from my house as TDS. This will be the same air I let out to air down in camp."

Then Chit Chat will get a month of off-season until whatever is going on in the desert this fall is beat to death all summer. Can we get a desert events forum so Chit Chat isn't so cluttered, and there is more room for the normal PM conversations to be posted?

I mumble "TDS" and "roadtrip" all damn day at work. Then I grin or giggle, or both.

A citizen who can fend for himself when the predators come or the schools fail is less inclined to look to the state for sustenance and oversight in other areas of life.
