Ozzy's pretty ugly

So beat and tired i won't even post a pic of his mug.

But he and Sharon did produce a not-so-well known hittable daughter.

Sure, maybe in 1985 but now he is just milking his past glories to stay relevant with an audience who has no frame of reference aside from his "god status" according to their favorite new artists.

meh, at a certain point it is just sad to watch, like Aerosmith, Rolling Stones etc. who should know when to just call it a day and earn their living off past catalog instead of making a new one with shitty music.

Don't get me wrong I like Sabbath and Ozzy both but it ended at No More Tears

Wouldn't you? Can't be cheap to get ol' Ozzy up on stage. Why not make money?

His catalog nets him more every year than his performances do I am sure, Sharon is no dummy and has built him an empire big enough for him to not do anything for the rest of his days and still leave the kids richer than their pathetic lives deserve.

Quick check says his net worth is 90mil (US)
Last annual income I could find was from 03 which said he nets 20mil a year (questionable) and is only second in British musicians wealth to Paul McCartney, which is pretty damned impressive.

I think the continued draw for these groups is that the audience transcends back to when they were young. What they look like or how "relevant" they are isn't important.

I personally hate seeing bands from my youth. They usually look like people that belong in nursing homes. Somebody needs to shoot Motley Crue.

I've seen aerosmith, black sabbath and kiss in the last decade or so. Kiss and aerosmith were the most recent about 4 years ago. Sabbath was kick ass I was absolutely floored that ozzy could still perform like he did. Aerosmith was awesome too. Great stage show, Steven Tyler was great but every once in awhile you could tell he was getting tired. Kiss sucked big hairy balls. Great pyrotechnics but you could tell they were winded and even from our cheap seats could see the skin hanging off of them and the sweat pouring off of them. My friend that bought the kiss tickets is a life long fan, he's seen them over a dozen times and even he said they were passed their prime and should hang it up.

I had a rather interesting encounter with Bobby Blitz from Overkill back in the early 90's.

I'm sure he did, at least a couple times. He was too stoned to roll over and die at the time.
