7 days to Save The Hammers

More than 2000 people are currently involved in a campaign to educate our elected officials on what is happening in Johnson Valley and what it means to us. Tons of people called Feinstein's office and emailed her District Director yesterday.

Today is day 2 of 7. We are asking everyone to call or email Kevin McCarthy's office today.

Tuesday August 7th, 2012 Please call:

Thanks to everyone who called Feinstein's office yesterday.

We still have a chance of winning this. With the budget cuts in the military, if we can make elected officials understand what is happening in Johnson Valley we have a chance of them not approving the Marines request for BLM's land.

Jerry is my representative and is in his last term. He has been in office since 1978. Although he is a conservative Republican, he has chaired both the Defense and House Appropriations committees. Our district was hit hard with base closures and downsizing during his term. It would not surprise me to see him vote for expansion. I'm still making the call and if the matter does not come to a vote this year, his successor will hear from me.
