That's a neat bike. Reminds me of the Triumphs I like. Admittedly I am not a bike guy and know very very little about them, but is the price on that one a bit high? Or is that what vintage bikes are going for? Didn't know there was a market for those. Nice bike though.

too bad your not closer. got one at my moms place, decent shape. dont know if it runs though. pm me, that way when we start cleaning up some of the crap around there if your still interested i'll let ya know. been in a shed for the last 30yrs. can remember sitting on it as a kid pretending to be riding.

I don't know about where you are but the one I took here was boring and easy.

its worth the money even if you've ridden on the street before, they definitely teach you some things that are valuable to know for riding with all the idiots on the road.

Riding in the city/traffic isn't bad because I can just ride through/around it all. Driving it it just makes me angry

I do wonder how I would fit on that. I LOVE the looks of a cafe style bike, followed by an old standard (ie, that bike with original handlebars). Not a big fan of cruiser style or crotch rockets (well, I like look of some crotch rockets but I'm too old for one

Serious question, are the cafe style bikes with the low small clip-ons difficult to ride for a noob?

Not difficult. But it may be uncomfortable for a guy your size. I love the look of clip on bars, tho.

I ride with 16" ape hangers pushed forward to vertical.

Nice bike. If it sits for any length of time, the carbs gum up and are a PITA to get right again. if you get it, ride the hell outta that bitch.
