California at it again

Now, this makes a lot of sense. Those farms in the Central Valley are using the water from N. California that S. California wants for their swimming pools and golf courses. And then they complain about the loss of the rural lifestyle.

$100 Million Deal Proposed for Central Valley Farmers
The United States Bureau of Reclamation has agreed to pay more than $100 million to landowners in California's Central Valley to stop farming about 34,000 acres.

You can never assume that logic has anything to do with the way CA governs itself.

Although without all that water for our lush golf courses and pools, we wouldn't have ANY economy here in the Coachella Valley. We're all about tourism, and retirees.

Only if the Bay area falls off from an earthquake at the same time.

That's fine with me, with one big provision. You have to keep
all the 's, liberals, and tree huggers in the Bay Area
and the surrounding communities. If they try and cross the border
to the new state of Desert we can shoot them on sight, no
questions asked.

You better go the day before, or you'll get your ass shot

BTW, does that law give leeway to us military folks, since we don't have the option?

Don't know the percentage, but there's a sh!t load of 'em up there.
The area voted overwhelmingly for Gore, Fienstien, Boxer, and
Davis. Hell, they even elected Willy Brown as mayor of San Francisco.

No way... I hadn't heard that. I've been saying for years that they should split the state in two. I'd love one of those stickers!

Yup, I remember that. That idea comes up periodically.

Fuckin A, i'm on that one. Let the southern ca folks squander their water, vote their hearts out, make their movies, and more importantly keep that border secure!

We'll take good care of the trees and freshwater supply while you sweat.

Sounds good to me. So now all we have to do once this goes in effect is tell them (, liberals, and tree huggers) there is a save the trees from evil conservatives event in socal that they all need to attend. That way you solve that problem for us! Thanks in advance!
