NOW i feel like i've moved over here...
Picked up my "baby" from the docks last night, seems to be running ok after 3 months of storage/travel. Getting some very strange looks cruising UK streets with Kalifornia plates, not that my height (33" tyres (tires?) and 29" floor to rocker panel) could have ANYTHING to do with it.......

For both of you that don't know WTF i'm talking about, i recently moved back to the UK after 12 years in CA, and i just got my Jeep off the container ship, YAY ME!!! 3 months without your rig is a LONG time...

Not too bad. Though i could quite easily go "postal" riding the London Underground (The "Tube") every day. It almost makes me miss the LA freeways for a commute, almost! 1000's of people jammed into underground trains, not too much fun. I am enjoying the weather a lot more here. LA weather gets boring after a while. Sunny, and clear, Sunny, and clear, Sunny, and clear is actually quite a PITA when you grew up with real seasons!

S'funny, but my Heep is going to be considered a big dawg over here. Most rigs aren't this setup!!

I already have an SOA with RE springs on it. Their SOA springs give ANOTHER 1.5"! I could easily get 38"s under there, but not on stock axles. Boggers? Damn, they'd hear me driving all the way over in France!!

I had a blast when I rented a car in London and drove it to Munich. But trying to pass on the autobahn was a bit of a challenge when I had to lean to the passenger side to get there. I had to the the same thing at border crossings with my passport though.

Thats why i'm looking hard at a LPG conversion. Less than 1/2 the cost per gallon. 35p Vs 73p per gallon. Sounds good to me! BTW the cost of the petrol is next to nothing, its ALL taxes which crank up the cost. Sound Familiar??

So next time you all start whinging coz gas went up 2 cents a gallon, i'm coming back to smackdown all the people who don't know how good they gottit!!!!
