I have done some research about this one, mostly cause I like to protect my rights even if it calls for being stopped by the police everytime they see me. Check this video out it gives a pretty clear example of what is legal and not. Cruise around on Youtube some and youll find live footage of the search to ensure the gun is safe (not loaded AT ALL) with no showing of ID or any type of information.

Better go to calguns.net or opencarry.org to check your info for current laws.

Brown made open unload carry illegal for pistols in 2012 and just passed another one to ban open unloaded carry of rifles for 2013.

Fuck CA and Fuck Gov. Brown.

I don't believe they, in doing that, got open carry banned, but they sure didn't help. I'm sure that a majority of gun owners don't like the gays bragging about being gay, or the gay pride parades.
