As for e-bullying being easier to deal with than physical abuse, you really don't know what you're talking about. Ask anyone that's ever been abused and they will tell you that getting your ass kicked is much easier than mental abuse.

As for Darrell, what happens is that Darrell spends some time with guys that are bigger and harder than him and realizes that he's not the tough guy he thinks he is. Take a look at Beyond Scared Straight sometime. All those kids realize that they're not as tough as they think they are.

True but (for my part) i was also posting my opinion from someone who was picked on quite a bit because i was really shy and awkward till everything started straightening it self out around 15 or so.

I came home one day upset because some kids we saying something about me. I don't remember what it was but i remember being upset and waiting in the art room till the busses were gone and then walking home. My dad talked to me about it and asked if what they were saying was true. I said no. so he said ignore it. I asked what do i do if they keep saying it. He said "punch them in the mouth". I said i would get in trouble. He said "not from me, sometimes you need to make a stand and take the consequences".

Couple days later they were at it again in Gym class and i just snapped and cold clocked the kid. Down he went and then his friends started hitting me. I just kept throwing punches. It seemed like a long time but it was probably a few min before it got broken up. Got suspended for 2 days. Went dirtbike riding with dad. Things were better after that. It was worth the fat lip i got.

My dad being the adult did not solve my problem. He gave me the confidence and the guidance to solve it myself. That is what i think is missing in this story

That's what I picked up from the video as well, removing personal responsibility from fucking some due with a girlfriend.

I even thought about that slide, "why so vague?" Oh, so you don't actually have to say you fucked the dude.

Lots of bad decisions, and what appeared to cries for attention (Od'ing, cutting, drinking, etc). Shitty no-one was giving her the attention she needed.



On a side note, where are all the boys in these grades? There's a girl showing off her body, fucking other dudes, ... how come there wasn't a line-up of boys knocking on the door??? She looked quite pretty.
