No you cannot sign a letter of intent as an eighth grader. You can commit, if offered, but nothing is binding until you sign your National Letter of Intent as a Senior on the National signing day of your year of graduation.

So, How Big a Ol' Boy are Ya?

They play 7 man football. It's hard to come out of that league to any Division 1 or 1AA school. He is big but only hope is as a lineman. His running back days ended after his last game. Juco ball for a couple years then if he has talent as a lineman, he had the size, he could end up at a good school. Thing is you can't coach 6'5"

No, it wasn't. It was a hat day discussion.

You thought you were going to cjheap the discussion and then attempted to suggest something that was not being discussed.

So, I make you look stupid again. You keep trying to step up to bat, keep striking out.

You're the one looking like an idiot. If a NLI is not being signed what exactly do you think they are signing?

I don't think they are signing anything. I know what they are signing on hat day. How many hat days have you attended? How many hat days of 8th graders have you attended?

Then why did you say they are signing something here? You said it twice in the first paragraph.

I've attended at least four that I can think of, one of which was mine. None of which were for anything but seniors. You're the one who said an 8th grader could sign not me...

And, you can't coach speed and athleticism. You either have it or you don't.

Both of these are true statements. If you could coach the speed & athleticism part I would be in the NFL right now.

If this kid is going to go anywhere he better drop about 50 lbs and work on his foot speed. Otherwise he will just be the big kid who played high school football vs a bunch of little kids and looked like a bad ass doing it.

ARE YOU FUCKING STUPID

I said an 8th grader DID SIGN you fucking moron. You are the only fucking moron that is adding shit to the conversation. NIL is not required, is not necessary and has not been a part of the fucking conversation until you interjected it, dipshit

When and where did you do hat day? I call bullshit. It's not like you haven't been caught making shit up before. Where did you play?

I know you are doing your best to try to play an semantical game and string it out as long as you can because you over-spoke your ass once again. Now, pay the piper.

I ask again what did an 8th grader sign, the ONLY thing that is ever signed is a NIL. If you say he signed something it was a NIL, which is not possible. Commitments are not binding and can be changed up until there is ink on the paper. So what exactly did he sign? I will wait.

No, the only thing ever signed IS NOT a NIL. Verbals are actually signed these days you fucking idiot. They are called commitments for a reason. They sign a letter of commitment as a formality at a hat day. It's the whole little production thing you see when some will have multiple hats in front of them. Coaches are now going after young kids before their junior year and getting out of some of the recruiting headaches.. as such they have little commitment letters

WHICH IS WHAT THE ORIGINAL FUCKING COMMENTS WERE ABOUT UNTIL YOU STUCK YOUR DICK IN YOUR MOUTH AGAIN

Your so far off base it's comical. A written commitment is a letter of commitment from the university to the athlete, it means he now has a scholarship if he signs, but does not imply any level of commitment on the athlete's part. Furthermore, due to a rules change this cannot be offered until the athlete's senior year. A verbal commitment is nonbinding and both parties can back out of it. The ONLY time a recruit is bound to anything is when the NIL is signed.

Your original comments implied he could have signed which is completely incorrect.
