Oh man I forgot about the aquarium in Newport. My kids love that place, especially the petting section. Like I said you will be hard pressed to do and see all the wonderful sights of the PCH in just two weeks. You do need to do the drive thru tree south of Eureka in the Redwoods, be pretty cool driving your bike through a living tree.

Don't worry about bears, they will be more scared of you than you are of them. You will be on the coast during the tourist season so there will be plenty of people around and the campgrounds full.
