Hey frontpage gurus, wanna cookie?

My site is kicking my arse right now, I cannot get crap justified to the left no matter what I do! WTF. Anyway, its all done in frontpage, shared borders top, left, and bottom. I want everything justified to the left. Who knows what the heck I'm supposed to do to justify it?

Are you just talking about the text in the main frame, or the images and everything?

everything...

On a screen bigger then 800x600, the top graphics move toward the center of the page, and the main table in the main page moves toward the right, and the left side menu stays pressed against hte left side of the screen. I want everything to stay justified to the left. I've set all the table options and border justifications to left, everyoption I can find is set to left, but it still changes....

top graphics: right click, "table properties", Alignment = Left

<div align="center">
<center>
<table border="1" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="464" height="113" bordercolor="#808080">
<tr>
<td height="113" width="750">
<div align="left">
<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="750" height="1" align="left">
<tr>
<td width="300" height="1"><font face="Arial" size="3"><map name="FPMap0">
<area href="index.html" shape="rect" coords="13, 8, 280, 69" target="_self"></map><img border="0" src="images/TopLeftLogo.gif" usemap="#FPMap0" width="300" height="80"></font></td>
</center>

You will note a center justification for your top tables. Try left alignment, I did it and it worked.

It has something to do with the shared borders. I will take more of a look at it this afternoon if I get a chance. I got it looking good in the editor, but it still moves in a real browser. I also tried removing the table size of 750. Maybe try putting the table size to 100% of browser width instead of a fixed number of pixels.

yeah

Yeah, I think the shared boarders are funky, when you goto HTML view in frontpage you don't see the code for the borders, only the main page..?!? well, playing with the html straight now, thanks for the input guys.

Try viewing it in html view in some real coding software like Homesite or Dreamweaver, its there. And maybe I'm not understanding what the problem is you are having, moving the top graphic over I fixed, but yes, there is a problem between tables, don't have time to figure it out right now. I took a quick glance at it in code validation mode, there is a bunch of stuff not right, but I don't think they are critical errors, I didn't look that close. And anyway, if they were critical they would crash NS 4x and they don't.

<tr>
<td width="150"><map name="FPMap2">

</tr>
</table>

</div>

</td><td valign="top" width="24"></td><!--msnavigation--><td valign="top">
<div align="left">
<table border="1" cellpadding="2" width="600" bgcolor="#FFFFFF" bordercolor="#808080" align="left">
<tr>

to this:

delete width values 84 and 24

<table border="1" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" bgcolor="#C0C0C0" bordercolor="#808080" align="left">

I just viewed it in Browser mode in Homesite, looked ok to me.
