preserving mistletoe

We got some mistletoe off of a tree the other day and the g/f wanted to preserve it. I googled and it seemed like all advice was using glycerine. Besides the fact I have no clue where to find glycerine I was wondering if anyone had any other ideas?

You can get it at the drug store. Old ladies use it to lube up.

Also useful for making acrylic paint dry slower (artist's acrylics), which where I first ran into it.

I don't know what it was preserved with, but I had a mistletoe beltbuckle that lasted for years.

If you press it in a book, use wax paper on both sides, otherwise it will become one with the pages.

No, I haven't seen it since my bar hopping days.
Edit: It's not that my gut is too big, I think it was misplaced when I moved.

Today I told her, you know it's not like we just can't go out next year and pull some more off a tree

I'm semi-amazed though, can't say I ever really realized/noticed Mistletoe growing before

Joe, stop on by any time.... you're more than welcome to the mistletoe in the trees.

Damn bucks keep tearing up the trees with the rutting, feel free to bring a bow and arrow, too. (silent not to disturb the neighbors)
