I have, several versions as well as various other religious books back in my "searching for answers" phase. The only answer I found was that organized religions are all corrupt and I don't want jack-shit to do with any of them.

Regardless of your religious views or associations, the Bible can be an excellent guide on how to live life. The 10 commandments are a great guide even if you don't want to delve deeper.

I'll agree to that in part. Generally most religions have a nice, calm face to them that have ample instructions to live life cleanly and "do the right thing" for the most part. some get a little weird with the strict rules and rituals, in my opinion, but that may just be culture clash. Religion is not a bad thing if it is not used badly but history has proven over and over that religious people are abused by those in power over their faith. In the end, many people go with an open heart and end up just being puppets on a string.

I have no beliefs, but if I were to gain them at some point, I would worship my chosen god in my own home, perhaps at a private shrine or altar in my home and leave the "organized" part of the religion to those foolish enough to be sheep. Just my .02
