What to do with my vintage stove

I need to get it out of the garage and I am torn between putting it on Craigslist or actually messing with Ebay. The problem I am having is its hard to find a value on it. I have narrowed it down thats its a 1959 Frigidaire Imperial electric range in pink, model # RI-55-59. The R stands for range, the I for Imperial. The 59 is the year number and I can't find info on what the 55 stands for. Pink seems to be more in demand and more difficult to find. Most I have found online are white. Mine is in working order and super clean. it even has to roasting pan that came with it and the instructions. Obviously with Ebay it would be local pick up or buyer arranges shipping. Is that going to be a pain in the ass to deal with? The one things mine has that the others don't seem to is the recessed burner.

Here are a few pics of it. Its fabulous but not realistic to keep

I would not list it on Ebay. PITA even if it's local pick up only.

try CL and price it to move.

Craigslist. There are tons of antique junkies watching CL. Price it what you think it's worth. Lower if no hits. Don't price it to move unless you really want it out now.

You never know who might like that stuff.

I thought pink was your color? Robert no-go on this one eh?

Believe it or not, my kitchen is not pink When we are done with the house, the only room that will be pink by my choice will be my office. Its a super cool stove, but its just huge and I can't imagine it being too energy efficient.

Ummm... You're a woman, right? I thought it was ingrained in your DNA to know what to do with a stove Obviously, you cook on it, making delicious bacon and other assorted goodies to take to your man.

WTF - did buying a house get your instincts all messed up now??

It is hit and miss on these things. It took me a year to sell a perfect condition Okeiff and Meritt stove. I tired CL, Ebay and even speciality boards for vintage appliances. They sell good out in california though.

I would list it on e-bay provided the buyer pays shipping. I would gamble that there's somebody out there looking for a pink stove to complement their pink kitchen. If it doesn't sell then do the craigslist thing. That's providing you have enough time to sit on it for the right price.

No idea what old pristine gas stoves are worth, but here's a picture I took of the cool old stove in my Aunts Beach house:
