It says "Caveman Trucks". This info is from a comment on another video of the truck.

Quote:
The Military truck that Aaron Lewis is seen driving in The Country Boy video was built by James "Jim-o" Restuccio, owner of Caveman Trucks located in Hammonton, NJ. I live just down the street and actually saw Aarons truck when it was on the trailer before they delivered it to the location of the video for filming. Aaron comes around town often, but keeps a very low profile. He is such a cool guy, very humble, and down to earth!

I HATE that country has become a place where tired acts come to die, again. I also dislike that George Jones was pulled in, in an attempt to give this some credibility. The other younger singing was Mike Wasocki also from Staind, I though was cool. My $.02.

Oh yeah, another one trying country to die off in.
I dont really care much for the song. But not because of the singer.

He has hardly gone to country to die. Staind's last album was successful, Aaron's acoustic tour is also very successful and a great show. They are also working on a new album from what I have read.

He is a song writer, artist, musician whatever no need to stay in one little box. Many people like more than one type of music so I dont see why artist are expected never to change it up.

I always thought Staind was OK. I liked some of their stuff, but was never that big into them. However, Lewis' acoustic stuff is damn good.

Lewis acoustic >>>>> Staind

I was very fortunate to get to see Staind in a shit hole club in Sac. just as 'Mudshuvl' was hitting the radio before Dysfunction came out. I drew this pic not too long after. I sent it to them and it was on their website for a short time.

While I'm not a huge Staind/Aaron fan, I like their stuff and his voice.

Sounds like any other country song, talking about his daddy, the bottle, bucks, 45s, beat up pickups, ect, nothing terribly original here.

I still kinda like it

Isn't that kinda what growing up in the country is all about? Not alot of diversity around here. Pretty much all the same, but i think he puts it into words very well.

that was absolutely phenomenal. I've been a huge aaron lewis fan, but an even bigger country fan, and I think he did a great job.

I just think it gets very old. We get it, you like tractors, hunting and beer.

About the only country I listen to is Cross Canadian Ragweed and Drive-By Truckers, although I consider them a little more country/rock.

I got a feeling 'ol "Hahns" is smarter and more sophisticated than us. He's able to think deeper and see the true music hidden behind the lyrics and notes. Please dont be one of those people.

I'm no music snob. I just see a lot mainstream country (and most other genres) as the same crap done slightly different. I've recently been listening to it more so I'm not exactly a country hater.

I don't see how anyone can say Tool, AC/DC, and Incubus for example, are the same, and they're all successful bands (not to say there isn't a ton of mainstream rock crap out there too). I just see a lot more variation in rock than other genres. Rock also uses a lot of metaphors to make the true meaning subtle, it's hard for country songs to have metaphors about tractors and beer.

Why didn't you just say that?? Metaphors makes better music. That was simple.

Sending memo to Nashville...
