I love it but, find a conflict. First off I loved Staind & I love Aaron. The whole country boy thing isnt an act. Thats what I thought was so cool about him when Staind first came out and I started reading about him. He really is a backwoods redneck at heart. Now here's the conflict. I HATE that country has become a place where tired acts come to die, again. I also dislike that George Jones was pulled in, in an attempt to give this some credibility. The other younger singing was Mike Wasocki also from Staind, I though was cool. My $.02.

I couldn't have said it better myself. However, I never felt like Aaron Lewis was on his way out. I thought he was getting ready to take off. It'll be interesting to see what he does in the future.

Ive been a huge Staind And Aaron Lewis fan forever. Got all there albums, dvd's , singles, even an originally packaged copy of Tormented. Aaron has been doing these acoustic tours for a few years now, which are fawking amazing. I think this is just a song he wrote that happened to appeal to country radio. To say he's crossing over or going there to die, i completly disagree. He is simply a song writer, writes what he feels, and grew up probably like most of us. So naturally thats what he's going to talk about. If you really listen to the words he writes, its pretty deep stuff.

Long live Staind and Aaron.

Now off to blast some Dysfunction.

Good stuff.

He's been on the local radio several times talking about hunting and living in a small town in western Massachusetts. He is country, even though he's from the 413.

I heard him on a 2 almost 3 hour interview on the Wilkow Majority show a few weeks back and that video actually represents him. He is a huge supporter of the troops and always has been. During the interview, they brought in troops who were his fan into the studio and he played a bunch of songs live and answered questions and chatted with Andrew about life, tours and everything. He's from Western Mass and has family near my parents in Vermont....he's an avid hunter, 4wheeler and outdoorsman. To be honest if he showed up at an event, I imagine he would fit right in with the rest of us.

Was that damn Charlie Daniels in there too? It looks like him, but if it is, he lost weight and looks pretty old.
