I stopped in to a local transmission shop a couple days ago to ask how much Turbo 400 core were bringing(I have about a dozen sitting around) and the twin to your truck was parked there(right down to the white wagon wheels).

I would have bought the damn thing if he would have sold it but he said the guy that owned it was the original owner and would never sell.

It was rust free and getting ready for a repaint.

May of last year I caught this guy. Pipevine swallowtail (Battus philenor) caterpillar. Like Monarchs, they feed on toxic plants which make them taste like shit to birds and other predators.



This evening I came home to find it had completed its metamorphasis and emerged as an adult. Picked a bad time to emerge as we are about to get rain next week. Took about 10 months to complete metamorphasis.
