The purposes of the Rubicon Trail Foundation are to provide opportunities to explore, enjoy, recreate and conserve the resources of the Rubicon Trail; to practice and promote responsible recreation; to educate and enlist humanity to recreate responsibly, while conserving and maintaining the quality of the Rubicon Trail and its environment; and to help the public better understand the relationship between recreation and land stewardship.
