Hello Everyone,
I am new to this community. I do not own a hummer now but thinking about having one soon. I am a great fan of Hummer. One of my friend has one and I love to drive it. He is lazy enough to drive and always asks me to drive which I enjoy always. It is something that I keep looking for the whole day. |

Welcome!
Take some time to browse some of the great info we have on all three models of the Hummer, and check back often for updates on the new upcoming models!

Hello, New to Pirate not to HUMMER.
We have 2 2008 H3 Alphas. Mr. Black (since 08) and Mr. Orange (Solar Flare new to us as of Dec 09). Removing all the mods off of mr. Black and swapping them on to Mr. Orange. We have to trun Mr. Black in at the end of the month. We have wheeled pretty much everything Michigan has to offer and love it! Someday we hope to make it to Moab! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Yeah, I'm a Rover guy; however, do to a 6x rollover (some asshole ran me off the road) I no longer have a Rover. I bought an H2 for my wife while I source a decent Disco. I've got a few questions for anyone who can answer them. First, I'm not all that familiar with GMs, what is the type of axle on the rear and the equivalent on the front? Second, what is the largest tire that can be fitted to the H2s stock that the axles can support off-road? And, finally, I guess, what are some of the issues that arise with these things after 58,000 miles (thats were I'm at now)? Thanks in advance for any help and also for the warm welcome.

Make sure that the 48k service was done the the H2. Big thing with these miles is the seal between the transfer case and transmision (leaks trans fluid to transfer case and burns up both transmission and transfer case. Make sure that the fluids are current and in good condition. The truck is standard with 35" tires and you can go to at least 37" without to much of an issue, just don't go wide or you will rub. Axles will handle the tires but watch your trans (maybe add extra cooler) and transfer case.

What's Up All?
Hey All,
I am new to Pirate, not new to wheelin my H3. I have a 2008 Alpha Adventure. Been wheelin it pretty hard over the past two years. Murdered 2 transfer cases, 3 front differentials, 2 front differential bushings, 1 leaf spring and 1 rack. Still love the H3 though.

AZ Lands...
All over AZ. Last summer we did a week in Moab and Canyonlands NP. We are starting early planning to do the Rubicon sometime next summer.
But I'll have to do some modifications before then. It seems to me that I read somewhere about someone that has thier H3 setup with SOA and is also working on maybe a Dana 44 for the front. Now those are a couple things that I think I will need to get done before next summer. |

Hello from Alaska.
I made the mistake of buying one of these for my wife last year. She has an 06 with I5 and auto, basically stock. This is the 2nd one....... An o6 with 4 inch rancho lift, 37 inch tires and manual 5 sp tranny. Good thing its a standard with the 37's. I can keep the revs in the power band with the little I5. It does great off road in low range, just throws mud all over itself. After the arb bumper, winch and snorkel mods it will be time for some fender flares. Regards, Jim
