H3 Alpha Review
Hey All-
I found a cool Video that has some awesome H3 Alpha climbing footage! Has anyone driven the Alpha? Is it a lot more powerful then the regular H3? Well, I put the link to the video below if anyone's interested. Enjoy! ![]() http://community.myride.com/kickapps...DEO&as=3898&b= |

I drove one Tuesday. I have an 07 so I like the 3.7 over the 3.5 but the 5.3 v-8 is overkill. MPG 13/16 I would buy a used H2 for the same money as an H3 Alpha. very tourqey off road and plenty of giddy up off the line in town. The weight distrubition is now off with the bigger block up front but the on road ride is smoother and much quieter. i will stick with my 3 tillthe 4 or H3 pick-up comes up.

jeez! the traction control is ridiculous! i hate how you have to stand on it and get the tires spinning before the traction control kicks in. that seems like a sure fire way to launch up something and either break parts or loose control. very counter intuitive compared to wheeling with proper locking differentials. why can't they come up with a good front locker?
![]() however finally getting a V-8 in the H-3 is awesome! kudos for that GM

I like it. All I can say is hopefully Chrysler will GET A FRIEKING CLUE and put a V8 in a wrangler.
Kudos to GM for actually LISTENING to what their customers want. I personally wouldn't pay $35k for a suped up colorado, but at least with a v8 the cost might be justified. It is after all a Hummer right? Lol I just watched the second video, that traction control is kinda F'ed up. Let's spin for about 15 seconds and then lock and launch!!!!
