Hummer Supports the Rubicon Trail! - Pirate4x4.Com : 4x4 and Off-Road Forum

If you haven't see this, I thought the Hummer peeps would like to see what Hummer's doing to keep the Rubicon Trail open. Here's a copy of an email sent out on the FOTR email list:

FOTR folks:

Wow, I just got word that Hummer (GM) is kicking in again to help us with our FOTR projects, work and goals.

They are donating $5000 to us (through the Rubicon Trail Foundation)!!!! WOWOWO.

They want the money to go towards all the great things we are doing to keep the Rubicon alive and well, and specifically they’d like to support us in September if we do a National Public Lands Day event (Sep. 29th) on the trail.

As you know, no other major vehicle manufacturer has stepped up to help us on the trail. This is the second time for Hummer (GM). So my hat is sure off to them. Very awesome! And thank you Hummer.

Well, It looks like we should start a e-mail campain to at least shame them into supporting the trail.

At the least, the Rubicon owners should help out.
