what size are the boggers?
wonder if it would help it they were cut.
nice to see someone wheel a H1, used to only see rich as kids in private schools drive them.

40" boggers on the h1 No issue with traction...they are just extremely heavy for that tired old sbc 350 to lug around even with the hubs and diffs.

next on my list is a set of detroits front and rear...and upgrading to 3.08s or bigger...that should take care of any power delivery issues!

sorry...its a cut/paste error on my part...the busted U-joint is from a buddys truck today (he posts here...but no need to call him out on it) =D

it aint a hummer

that one hole was fantastic...i swear at first glance I expected it to be nothing more than a slight puddle...it gives zero indication of it being as deep as it was.

thats one of those "no really..take your stock f150 through ...you got that!" to a buddy type holes :lol

I'd be very careful if thats the place I'm thinking of. Right off St. Augustine rd?

Some kids shot off a shotgun back there one night and got the cops called. They've periodically patrolled that area since.

Are you going to RiverRock on the 4th?

Gee.... I hope that this land is legal. Otherwise you are trespassing , and helping us lose our land. And if your gonna come back with my cousins , sisters mom's aunts distant grandma's neighbor told you it's ok than it's not. You sir are the reason we have so little land to wheel on in this Country. Thanks For that courtesy you give us.

That doesn't mean it is right. Remember you just said that the people that live next to it..... I must have missed where it said the owners of the property you are destroying , came and drank a few beers with ya. Yeah your H1 looks cool but it would be alot better if you used a "LEGAL PLACE TO WHEEL" Last time I check Pirate doesn't condone Wheeling on Not legal land. You best go into every thread on here about land use , and tell them to fuck off...

I am not bitching. I am tell you that it isn't cool to destroy land that isn't yours . It is cool to wheel on land that is yours, or land that is legal such as ORV Parks. You just give people more ammo to complain and shut down the land some of us work hard to keep open. Why... Because you are to immature to see the big picture of our land all disappearing because of idiots like you.

that place is a giant cleared area of land that people use to dump all sorts of construction waste....appliances...couches...garbage...whatever they can out in this area.

while the shots you see may look like "pristine wilderness" I can assure you they arent.

also while it aint much...I do make an effort to pick up one or two things and toss em into the bed of the truck when I go out there.

Perhaps things work a bit differently in IL....but im sure that wont stop you from being an internet eco-vagina to anyone you see.

tearing up the land? get real...what exactly am I tearing up? its a giant dirt lot filled with water.

so as I said before...go eat a bag of dicks. let me know when your state is 100% free of people who dont go offroading wherever possible and then come talk to me.

Tearing up the land is what you do on land that you have not made decisions , how to develop it... That is exactly what you are doing. If you spend some time on here ,and realize the effort some members of this forum do to keep land open for us to use maybe you would respect the property that you don't own. Maybe not... I own my own website , and I don't tolerate people that condone illegal wheeling. I tell them the site doesn't support it , and to drop it. I do what I can to help people understand the ill effects your arrogance supports. I personally Drive 45 Minutes to go to one park , and 2 Hours and 45 minutes to go to the other park. It is worth every penny to go wheeling on land that is specifically designed for our hobby. Look into your local parks , and realize this isn't a cheep hobby , that it cost's to have fun . But most importantly stay the fuck off land you don't own. If the cops came and impounded your hummer would it be a cool place to go then?

thankfully i dont live in a state whrere that happens.

Florida is a kind state...where wheeling happens by thousands of people in hundreds of locations all over the area.

Its been happening since long before I was born...and itll be happening long after im dead. The people that "Tear up the land" are the ones who go in and make their own trails through vegetation and or trees...or leave their garbage and trash up a good location. Feel free to swing your dick in their direction in hopes they will suck on it...but youll get nothin from me.

Cops/FWC run you off...you dont go back...its as simple as that. However in this particular area...there isnt anything roping/blocking it off...its not a makeshift trail into the woods...its just a dump site at the end of a long residential road.

Enjoy bumfuck IL.

so just because other people do something illegal means its fine for you to do something illegal? i hope you find a group of people jumping off a bridge and decide to join it since everyone else does it.

4 wheeling is scrutinized so bad since its more organized than some white trash scumbag dumping his old sofa off there. dumping trash is illegal. wheeling without permission on land that isn't yours is illegal...what you are doing is just as bad as those dumping trash, and MUCH more harmful to our community. Too many public areas aren't able to be enjoyed anymore because of illegal activities among other things.

Media and those tree huggers who are against what we do DO NOT give a shit where you are from and how lax the police are. Its just that much more ammo for them to use to shut down wheeling...then start making/enforcing more lift/modification laws to those who do drive on the street...just because you have this "more holy than thou" attitude doesn't make you right and your stay here will be a shitty, short lived one. clean up your act and dont fuck up things for anyone else anymore than they are.

Thank goodness I live in Colorado with thousands of miles of FREE National Forest trails, and not some uptight, overpopulated, leaf-licker dictatorship. Having to go to privately owned ORV PARKS must suck so bad to give people the attitudes shown in this thread. They apparently don't get out of their respective states much and think the rest of the country is bound by the same constrictions as they are. Sucks to be them!

I wish we had Free ORV Parks here... But just because I have to pay doesn't make me wheel on peoples private property to use at my discretion. I do go out of my state as well , but in the Midwest most wheeling you pay to do or it is privately owned. I have a buddy who owns 3-450 Acres we occasionally hit , but nothing that isn't ours. His is unmfarmable land so we go out there , but not often. And as I said it is "HIS LAND" Not sure if your post was aimed at me or not...

Since you are my hero, I won't be curt, but I have to tell you. Start to monitor your FS website. Believe me. It will be changing very soon in Colorado.

Travel Management is coming to a Forest in Colorado. You can set your Google alerts to notify you of and thing happening in your favorite wheeling area.

Do it, I suspect you'll be one of the more involved folks when i comes down the pike.

Oh, I am quite aware of the proposed closures, but in all honesty, some of those areas do need refurbishing because of irresponsible behavior. If you ever heard of the Rainbow Family, they destroyed NF area by Steamboat Springs and got that area closed for regrowth. And they are hippy leaf licker types!
