Slickrock Rd. - NorCal

I so totally love this trail. We had a great time getting the H1's up the Ladder. Here are some pics from the trip:

BebeHumr coming down Slickrock Rd.:

Some v-notch action

Run Speedy run!!!!

Hecklers POWNED!

H1's (probably a good chance they are the 1st to do this obstacle)

Now came the Hummer. On the lower section, I kept to the right and drove over some rocks on the side (the trail looked so wide when the Jeep when through...). It is so neat to see the big MTs claw at the side and pull the truck up. Since the slope was gradual, I used only moderate brake to pull the truck up. The step was going to be a problem b/c it was really narrow. I had no choice but to pick an extreme left line, into the deepest part of the step, and up the steepest. To compound the difficulty, at the top of the step on the left was another flat slab, limiting my left clearance.

As I lined up with the channel, I watched my left front start to climb the steep step. As I neared the top, I got the signal that my right was going to be ok. Since the Bronco and Jeep had slid to the right, I had to be very careful. As my left reached the top, I turned a little left and started to climb up the second slab. I am sure I got on 3 wheels at some point...it was not the first time this afternoon. I had quite a bit of pressure on the brake to ascend.
Pics or it doesn't count/it didn't happen.

Hey, no little green necklaces. I KNOW what that means, and it comes from Mexico. Bad news for big girls.

You all be careful. Without Uncle Del there you could get in trouble.

WHAT??????????? I'm shocked! You're suggesting that Bebe and LadyRed might consume directly from the bottle? Consume? Imbibe? Swig?

Well, it doesn't happen unless there's pics.

Oh, this is not going to be good. Now "the sistas" are high fiving each other and talking about glowing things in the dark --- it's likely to be, well.....shall we say......hmmmm....scary?,

I will be at church camp, reading from the good book, drinking tea, and reflecting on my purity. So ya-all have fun.
