Stuff Hummer with things troops need

A "Heap the Hummer" extravaganza will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Glen Lakes Publix, 9595 Commercial Way.
Donations of items will be accepted and stuffed into a Hummer, then sent to military troops serving overseas.

The event, sponsored by the local Publix, will include entertainment and children's activities.

Various local agencies will also be on hand. There will be fire trucks, an ambulance, the sheriff's DARE car and military vehicles on display. For information, call (352) 596-5189.

It would be great if the Florida folks could get out and help with this!!!

Let me know if anyone else wants to do something like this on the West Coast
