heat and a/c
I have a 1998 H1
Heat and a/c fan only works on hi. When you turn the knob from low to hi it does not start blowing until you get to hi. Auxillary unit fan works on hi and low. Has anyone had the same problem?

the front and rear units/fans use different switches.
Maybe replacing the switch would be an easy solution? Check the HML knowledge base and/or call Dave Breggin at BlueHummer.com -- 303-361-5833 rb

Front and rear units are on separate switches . I dont know why
I mentioned that the rear unit works properly. Before posting I checked the Html but couldnt find anything. I was concerned that the switch for the front fan required replacing the complete control unit. I will call dave in the A.M. Thanks Tom

If I've learned anything about AM General's part system, its that you probably have to order each piece piece individually to replace any part (eg. you have to buy nord-lock washers in halves instead of sets). You'll probably have to put the switch together.
You will almost certainly be able to get just the switch. If its not that, then the resistor bar is an easily tested, simple fix too. You can test either with a mulit-meter.
