H1 wheel assembly

Howdy.. I searched all over pirate but cant find an answer.
I have a set of surplus H1 wheels. How do I center the outer part of the rim on the 12 bolts. the 12 holes are much bigger than the bolt diameter.
The 8 bolt version looks like it might self center as you tighten it down, but i dont see that happening with my 12 bolts.

there are a few generations of 2 piece steel rims. I think they (3?) need centering washers.

They center themselves IIRC. Search H1 in general 4x4. Never heard of an issue centering them.

My 12 bolt studs seemed to fit tight in the holes. You may have a bad set that was run loose or something. Being surplus you never know the what they have been through..

My manual says
Quote:
17. Install three pilot washers spaced equally apart on studs
located left of outer rim half notches (ensure washers are
seated in outer rim half).
But according to flash off road, the "newer style" 12 bolt wheels don't require centering washers. I can't see how it wouldn't require centering washers though as the hole is always going to be larger than the stud, and there is nothing to center around the stud.

Pilot Washer, part # 6001844.

shows $0.68/each
